Wish you all a very happy and healthy 2022!
As we embark on the journey of a new year, we are happy to announce the release of the inaugural issue of the “Indian Journal of Skin Allergy.”
Skin allergy is one of the most common reasons for consultation with dermatologists. “Skin Allergy Research Society” has taken several academic initiatives to spread awareness of skin allergy disorders. Annual Skin Allergy Meetings are being conducted with the involvement of national and international experts to share knowledge and experience. Society is committed to encouraging evidence-based practice in the treatment of skin allergies including urticaria, atopic dermatitis, angioedema, drug allergy, allergic contact dermatitis, and other skin allergies.
To fill the lacuna of a dedicated resource for recent developments in the area of skin allergy, “Skin Allergy Research Society” has taken the initiative of starting a journal “Indian Journal of Skin Allergy.” The journal is aimed to publish review articles, clinical studies/trials, case reports, book reviews, letters to the editor, and other important articles about skin allergy. Indian Journal of Skin Allergy is an open-access, peer-review journal committed to publishing high-quality articles.
We are pleased to announce the release of the inaugural issue of the journal in January 2022. This issue includes 11 articles including the Editorial. We are happy to receive contributions in the form of original articles, case reports, and review articles for this issue. In the inaugural issue, we are pleased to include the review article, “Chronic inducible urticaria: Clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management” from one of the world-renowned experts in urticaria, Dr. Emek Kokaturk et al.
The journal is planned to be published bi-annually in both print and online versions. The journal has user-friendly online submission and review system for the ease of authors and reviewers. For more details related to the journal, author instructions, and other relevant information, readers are requested to visit the website of the journal https://skinallergyjournal.com
I wish to congratulate all members of the Editorial Board for their significant contribution and efforts to make this happen. I also wish to thank national as well international Editorial Board advisors for helping the Skin Allergy Research Society to reach this milestone.
We wish to continue spreading knowledge related to skin allergies with contributions from experts across the world. On the behalf of the Editorial Board members, I request you to submit your research or other articles to the journal.
Happy reading!
Dr. Kiran Godse
